Programming the sensor

“Today is day two of working on the heart rate monitor. I spent yesterday and today trying to program. I have never programmed something like this before on my own so it is challenging. Yesterday I managed to figure out how to write the information gathered by the monitor onto the computer screen, and today I am trying to write code so that it appears on the little screen that I am using for the actual device. Throughout today and yesterday, I learned just how many small problems you can run into while programming. For example, while writing the code, I keep forgetting to add a semi-colon at the end of every line.”
