Brainstorming

The Idea

I knew I wanted to build something, but I didn’t know what. I wanted to challenge myself, instead of trying something I already knew how to do. So what could I make, that would be challenging, but was possible for me to make with the resources and knowledge I have? My dad, a computer engineer, suggested I build and program a heart rate monitor, which he could help me with if I needed. I loved this idea and we started planning right away.

But… How?

Now that I knew what I wanted to do, I now needed to execute my plan. My dad ordered some electronic parts online and I started designing the look for the heart rate monitor. I chose a pink fuzzy scrunchie as the wristband to be comfortable, and cute!
